Apply for the European Universities Championships 2025

The European Universities Championships are held every two years in connection with the multi-sport event European Universities Games and every two years as separate European Championships. 2025 will be the year of the European Championships. The Games also offer a great opportunity to test the level of European elite sports, as many national team-level athletes will be taking part in them. The athletes will represent their own higher education institution in the Games.

Registration:

The Finnish Student Sports Federation will select the athletes for the Games based on the applications. Application form at the end. Finland has one guaranteed spot for each sport, and it is also possible to apply for more than one team or athlete for the same competition series. For this reason, we will rank the applicants, and we hope to get several representatives for the Games. For most individual sports, there are more than one spot for each competition series. The applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 30.

The applications must be sent by 29 January 2024.

NOTE! Even though the Finnish Student Sports Federation will select the athletes from among students studying in Finnish higher education institutions, it will only enrol and assist athletes from higher education institutions that are members of the Federation.

Students from the following higher education institutions will be enrolled by their own higher education institution. So, if you are studying in one of the higher education institutions listed below, please contact your own higher education institution already when applying for the Games.
