General

What is OLL?

The Finnish Student Sports Federation (OLL) is a national advocacy and service organisation working for the betterment of Finnish student sports, representing all Finnish higher education students in matters of sports and exercise. Who can become a member?

Student unions and student associations are full members of OLL. Cooperation members may include national, regional and local associations, foundations and other incorporated societies in the sports, health and student sectors. Read more about membership on the How do I become a member? page.

How much does the membership cost?

Student unions and student associations pay a membership fee of €0.60 per student per year The minimum membership fee is €200. The membership fee for our cooperative members is €500/year.

Member benefits

Who can make use of OLL’s member benefits?

OLL’s member organisations (student unions and student associations) can make use of OLL’s member benefits. There are also certain benefits for individual student members of member organisations. General Assembly

Who can attend the General Assembly?

Regular representatives of OLL’s member organisations and representatives of cooperation member organisations may attend the General Assembly. Representatives of various interest groups are also invited to the General Assembly as observers.

What happens at the General Assembly?

The General Assembly decides on matters defined in the Associations Act and in OLL's regulations. These include electing the Board, approving the budget and plan of work for the following year, and approving the previous year's accounts. Finnish Student Championships

Can Open University students or upper secondary students participate in the Finnish Student Championships?

Unfortunately, Open University students or upper secondary students cannot participate in the Finnish Student Championships.

Can we have a student from another higher education institution on our team?

In the competitive series, teams may include members from two different higher education institutions, provided that the higher education institutions are located in the same municipality. However, the team can only represent one higher education institution. The higher education institution represented by the team must be determined upon registration.

In the relaxed series, teams may include members from several different higher education institutions.

Can exchange students participate in the Finnish Student Championships?

Yes, exchange students can participate in the Finnish Student Championships.

Where can I find the upcoming FSC tournaments?

You can find the upcoming FSC tournaments on the official website of the Finnish Student Championships (website only in Finnish and Swedish). New FSC tournaments will be updated on the website throughout the year as organisers open the registration for their tournaments.
