The European Universities Combat Sports Championships will take place in September
Published:The last European student championships of the year will take place in Tirana, Albania on 8–16.9, when it is time for combat sports. As Finland’s medal score for this year is 0 after the summer’s EUSA Games, the team heading to Tirana will be responsible for this year’s success.

Report: Salerno offered heat and memorable moments with student high-performance sports
Published:In July, the best elite student athletes gathered at the EUSA Games in a hot Salerno, Italy to compete in the European Championships. The Finnish team consisted of athletes in table tennis, padel, football, badminton and beach volley. The EUSA Games, which is one of the largest sporting events of the year, saw more than 5 000 athletes compete in 16 events.

The super popular Askelviikot event starts in September – join OLL’s Student Series!
Published:The Finnish Student Sports Federation OLL and the Finnish Workers’ Sports Federation TUL want to encourage university students to get moving in September. This year’s Askelviikot (Step Weeks), taking place 7–20.9, will end on UNESCO’s International Day of University Sport, when university sports are celebrated all over the world.

Analysis: Finland’s EUSA Games team is ready for surprises
Published:The 2026 European Student Championships will take place at two separate events: the EUSA Games are kicking off in Salerno, Italy in mid-July, and EUC Combat Sport is taking place in Tirana, Albania in September. OLL Awards to Laurea and Metropolia
