Niko Peltokangas chosen as Secretary General of OLL
Niko Peltokangas (M.A.) has been chosen to stand in as Secretary General of the Finnish Student Sports Federation during the current Secretary General’s study leave.
Peltokangas, currently in the position of the Federation’s Communications Specialist, will stand in for Ida Bolander until the summer of 2023.
“It’s exciting to jump into a new role in a familiar organisation and to assume responsibility for the ongoing development of the membership model and strategy work. As Secretary General, my task is to ensure that the Federation has the necessary resources and networks to develop both higher education sports and lobbying before the parliamentary elections,” says the new Secretary General.
Previously, Peltokangas worked in Communications and as a journalist. They will begin in their new position on 15 August. The Federation is currently recruiting to find a temporary Communications Specialist.
