Tuulia Viljanen appointed as Communications and Organization Coordinator – changes at the OLL office

Tuulia Viljanen has joined OLL as a temporary Communications and Organization Coordinator. Viljanen, who holds a master’s degree in Communication Studies, worked as a communications specialist for the Federation from 2023 to 2024 and has also worked at communications and marketing agencies. Her employment contract will run until the end of 2026.

The recruitment of Viljanen is linked to a number of reorganisations at the office. She will stand in for Niko Peltokangas, Head of Communications & International Affairs, who is coordinating the University on the Move activities during the parental leave of Anni Liina Ikonen, Special Advisor for University Sport. Peltokangas will also be responsible for the Federation's advocacy work and membership development.

In addition to communications, Viljanen will be responsible for organising the Finnish Student Sports Federation’s member events for the rest of the year. Events and Training Specialist Markku Rantahalvari, who is starting partial study leave at the end of March, will focus on tasks related to student sports in the future.

A total of 150 applicants applied for the position of Communications and Organization Coordinator, with six being called for an interview. OLL would like to thank everyone who applied!
